Bio of Janice K. Cosey
Janice Kœller Cosey has been a resident of Shreveport, LA. since 2005. Previously she lived New Orleans, La. for over 60 years. She attended and graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. in the Spring of 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education Pre-K to 8th Grades in all subjects. Mrs. Cosey received the Master of Arts Degree from Xavier University of New Orleans, LA. in Curriculum and Development in 2000 with a certification to Supervise Student Teachers. She holds a Lifetime State Teaching Certificate and is Licensed to teach in Louisiana. She taught in Orleans and Caddo Parish Schools until retiring in 2007. She owned and operated a tutoring service from 2007 until 2019.
Mrs. Cosey is married to John W. Cosey, Jr., and is an active member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Shreveport Alumnæ Chapter; and the New Dimension Chorale Society.
