After the June 13, 2017 death of past director and founder of the New Dimensions Choral Society, Bobby Wiggins, the group unanimously elected Patricia Britton-Hall, the then-Assistant Director, as its new director.
Patricia received her B.S. in Music Education from Grambling College and was among the first African-Americans to receive a Masters of Music from the LSU School of Music in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a music educator in the Caddo Parish School System for many years as music teacher at Walnut Hill Elementary / Middle School, Captain Shreve High School, and at Caddo Magnet High School where she developed an award-winning choir. In 1992, she became the Supervisor of Music in the Caddo Parish School System, in charge of the music programs in 75 schools and 125 music teachers. She also has taught piano at Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL, and choral music at Grambling State University.
Patricia is married to Carl Hall and has one daughter, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
